Porelast® is a 100% cotton one-way short stretch compression bandage covered with a porously applied synthetic rubber adhesive
The Porelast® short stretch compression bandage by Lohmann & Rauscher is used for compression bandaging in phlebology and the treatment of Lymphedema. Similar to other short stretch compression bandages, Porelast® provides one-way short stretch "working" compression. However, the porously applied synthetic rubber adhesive coating allows the bandage to securely adhere to itself, providing firm support for treating sprains and injuries in joint areas and supporting and relieving distortions, contusions and dislocations. Porelast® is exceptionally suited for providing functional bandaging in sports medicine applications.
