Comprifore Multilayer System
The new JOBST® Comprifore multilayer compression system contains all the components necessary to deliver effective compression for the treatment of venous leg ulcers
The Comprifore MultiLayer compression system uses multiple layers to safely build to effective levels of compression. With Comprifore, safety and efficacy are built into the system with each easy to apply component supplying just the right properties to create the optimal healing conditions for venous leg ulcers. The addition of the Cutimed® Sorbact® sterile WCL (wound contact layer) with microbe binding action to reduce wound bioburden in colonized or infected wounds, affords low adherence for atraumatic and pain free dressing changes. The new JOBST® Comprifore multilayer compression system:
- Provides sustained graduated compression of 40 mmHg to combat venous hypertension and support rapid healing
- Provides sustained compression for up to 7 days to insure compliance and cost effectiveness
- Proven safe and easy application to provide consistent compression and consistent results ofthe gold standard of care
- Contains Cutimed® Sorbact® WCL to reduce one of the most common barriers to healing
- Available in both a Lite version for patients with either smaller ankles or lower ABI, and a Latex Free version for those sensitive to latex
The Comprifore MultiLayer compression system contains:
- Cutimed® Sorbact® Sterile WCL with microbe binding action
- Layer 1 - Orthopedic Padding and absorption layer
- Layer 2 - Light support bandage
- Layer 3 - Light compression bandage (not included in the Lite systems)
- Layer 4 - Cohesive elastic bandage
