Mobiderm

Mobiderm is one of Thuasne’s flagship product lines, a patented medical solution that helps improve lymphatic drainage.

A unique multi-layered compression solution, Mobiderm features foam cubes that are placed within a soft fabric structure. This design creates a micro-massage effect on the skin, which can help reduce swelling, improve lymphatic flow, and soften fibrotic (hardened) tissue.

The embedded foam cubes in Thuasne’s Mobiderm products apply variable pressure to the skin, when you are moving or resting. Mobiderm can be used as a part of various compression systems – under bandages, within compression garments, or as part of adjustable wraps.

Some of Mobiderm’s signature products include:

Mobiderm Autofit Compression Sleeves: These innovative, adjustable compression sleeves are designed for self-management of lymphedema. They feature Thuasne’s patented foam cube technology and are easy to put on and adjust, which makes them ideal for daily wear and nighttime use. The consistent, comfortable compression of Mobiderm Autofit sleeves helps soften fibrosis (hardening) in areas affected by lymphedema. The compression sleeves are a convenient, effective alternative to traditional lymphedema bandaging.

Mobiderm Intimate Shorts: These compression shorts (suitable for men and women) are specially designed to help manage lymphedema and lipedema in the pelvic, hip, and thigh areas. With a breathable, ergonomic design, the Mobiderm shorts offer targeted, adjustable compression and optimal support.

Mobiderm Bandaging Kits: These bandaging kits (available for arms and legs) are designed to support intensive decongestive therapy for lymphedema. The Mobiderm foam cube sheets are the cornerstone of the kits, which also come with stretch bandages and compression bandages.

Mobiderm Foam Bandages And Foam Pads: These foam bandages and pads are made with Mobiderm’s proprietary foam cube technology, which encases foam cubes inside two non-woven bandages. Both the Mobiderm foam bandages and the foam pads are available in a “small block” design and a “big block” design. The Thuasne small block design is intended for more targeted compression, while the big block design is typically used for deeper compression.
