Available in shaped dressings with tapered edges for wound management on the sacrum, heels and elbows, the FlexiCol® hydrocolloid wound dressing by Hartmann USA provides effective and secure coverage to difficult-to-dress areas. FlexiCol® offers excellent contact adhesion for quick and secure application and remains securely in place for days after application. It’s peel-off tabs, thin beveled edge and ability to fold and conform, make application quick and prevent dressing "roll-off". FlexiCol® manages wound exudate and drainage through a combination of absorption and evaporation, with the thin film exterior and moist inner core allowing for higher and quicker fluid uptake, preventing residue from remaining in the wound bed.
Indicated for use in managing light to moderately draining chronic and acute wounds and for treating conditions such as leg and pressure ulcers, second degree and superficial burns and abrasions.
